With heavy rain hitting East Rutherford, N.J. throughout the day, the Meadowlands Racetrack has cancelled live racing for Friday, Sept. 30. 

Live racing will resume on Saturday, Oct. 1 – first post 7 p.m.  A Jersey Six carryover of $3,408 will await Saturday’s players. 

The meet, which features a 15% takeout on all wagers, the lowest in the nation, runs through Oct. 19 with live racing Wednesday through Saturday until Oct. 8.  After which Thursday through Saturday racing will be conducted from Oct. 13 through 15.  The final three programs, Oct. 17 through 19, will be run during the day.  Nighttime post is 7 p.m., day cards go at 1:10 p.m.
