The Meadowlands kicks off the first of 14 all-turf race cards on Wednesday, Sept. 28, with 67 horses entered across the six-race program.  The Big M will feature a 15% across the board takeout throughout the meet, which runs through Oct. 19.

“It’s an exciting experiment that has produced quite a bit of positive feedback,” said Dennis Drazin, advisor to Darby Development LLC, operators of the Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet.  “Fans are always looking for a lower takeout and at 15% across all wagers we are delivering.”

The Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet will host live cards on Wednesdays through Saturdays until Oct. 8 after which a Thursday through Saturday schedule will be offered until Oct. 15.  The final three cards will be Oct. 17 – 19.  Post time will be 7 p.m. nightly, with the exception of the final three days, which will have a post of 1:10 p.m.

All races will be televised on TVG with expert handicapper and on-air personality Tom Cassidy offering on-track insight and analysis into the racing program.

The Meadowlands will also feature exchange wagering, which launched to great success earlier this year as New Jersey became the first in the nation to offer this new and innovative wagering platform.

A full slate of activities and dining options will be available throughout the Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet, including the return of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales on Oct. 15.

Trotters will be serving a buffet on all live race days with Pink open on Saturday nights.  In addition, the Victory Sports Bar will be open race days as will the Victory Roof Top Terrace, weather permitting.

There’s free parking, free admission and free seating, both inside and out at the Meadowlands.  Live programs will be $2, simulcast books $4.  Valet parking will be offered for $5.
