Salsano Hits Finale To Capture NHC Qualifier; Gristick Joining Him In Vegas

Monmouth Park’s $300 NHC Qualifier was held on Saturday, September 26 and Frank Salsano of Brick, NJ finished in the top spot.
Salsano bested a field that included 168 entries. He turned his starting $200 bankroll into $1,825 by betting races from Monmouth Park, Belmont and Churchill. Contest players could only bet win, place and/or show and needed to bet a minimum of $20 per race.
By finishing first, Salsano takes home the first-place cash prize of $4,900. Along with second-place finisher Gary Gristick , Salsano has earned a seat in the 2021 National Horseplayers Championship in Las Vegas.
