Pretty Picture Scores In Saturday’s Featured Allowance As Chad Brown And Jorge Delgado Remain Tied Atop The Trainer Standings

September 06, 2025

After losing his share of the lead atop the trainer standings earlier in the card, Chad Brown moved back into a tie for first with three racing days remaining when Pretty Picture scored a hard-earned half-length victory in Saturday’s $50,000 allowance at Monmouth Park.

Brown and Jorge Delgado are tied atop the trainer standings with 19 wins apiece.

Pretty Picture, impressive winning her debut on the grass on Aug. 3 at Monmouth Park, improved to 2-for-2 lifetime after needing most of the stretch to get past a stubborn Blame the Banker.

The one-mile feature for fillies and mares 3 and up was taken off the turf and moved to the sloppy main track after a thunderstorm drenched the area two races prior.

That reduced the original field of 10 to six, with Pretty Picture returning $3.80 to win.

The winning time was 1:40.12.

Ridden by Samy Camacho, Pretty Picture sat in mid-pack before making her move coming out of the final turn and hooking up for most of the stretch with Blame the Banker. It was another seven lengths back to Bottle Rocket in third.

Delgado had claimed a brief lead in the competition for leading trainer when he won the fifth race with Pretty Shy.

Pretty Picture, a 3-year-old Kentucky-bred daughter of Munnings, was unraced at 2. She is owned and was bred by Three Chimneys Farm.

As a result of the thunderstorm Saturday, Monmouth Park’s racing office announced that Sunday’s card will be off the turf.

The meet concludes next weekend with live racing Saturday and Sunday.

Admission and parking are free.
