Monmouth Park’s revived festival schedule continues this weekend with the Live & Local Music Festival set for Saturday, Aug. 21, followed by the Classic Car Show and Oldies Day on Sunday, Aug. 22.

Presented by New Jersey American Water and Power by IBEW 400, the Live & Local Music festival will feature 12 bands from Lakehouse Music Academy on two stages. The bands will perform from noon to 4 p.m.

Lakehouse Music Academy is a progressive music school featuring group rehearsals, individual lessons and live performances at Asbury Park’s world-famous music venues. The program is committed to the development of comprehensive musicianship for every student at every level and every age.

The Classic Car Show & Oldies Day, which is expected to showcase more than 150 cars, will run from noon to 3 p.m. There will be live music during that time from the Cameos, New Jersey’s favorite oldies group, and Big Joe Henry will broadcast his Favorite Hits Show live from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission and parking are free.

First race post time both days is 12:15 p.m.
