Marshall Gramm Wins Inaugural June 28 $400 NHC/Haskell Qualifier

Monmouth Park held a $400 NHC/Haskell Challenge qualifier on Saturday, June 28 and Marshall Gramm of Memphis, TN finished in the top spot with a total of $1,200.
Gramm bested a field that included 118 entries. He turned his starting $200 bankroll into the winning total by betting races from Monmouth Park, Aqueduct and Churchill. Contest players could only bet win, place and/or show and needed to bet a minimum of $20 per race.
By finishing first, Gramm won a 2026 NHC seat along with a 2025 $1,000 Haskell Challenge seat and cash. Second-place finisher Charles Thompson III will also be headed to Vegas for the NHC. The entire Top 8 earned a Haskell Challenge seat along with cash.
