Four $150,000 stakes races will headline the fourth edition of Monmouth Park’s Haskell Preview Day on Saturday, June 14, as a prelude to NYRA Bets Haskell Stakes Day on Saturday, July 19.

The NYRA Bets Pegasus Stakes, a listed event, will serve as the local prep for the $1 million Grade 1 NYRA Bets Haskell Stakes, the highlight of the 50-day meet.

The Haskell Preview Day card includes the Grade 3 Salvator Mile, the Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes and the Monmouth Stakes.

Monmouth Park’s 80th season gets underway on Saturday, May 10. Live racing runs through Sept. 14.

The Haskell Stakes Day undercard will also feature the $600,000 Grade 2 United Nations, the $500,000 Grade 3 Molly Pitcher, the $400,000 Grade 3 Monmouth Cup and the $300,000 Grade 3 WinStar Matchmaker Stakes.

The 44th running of Pegasus Stakes, for 3-year-olds at a mile and a sixteenth, is the Shore track’s prep race for the nine-furlong Haskell. The top two finishers in the Pegasus Stakes receive a free entry fee and start fees for the Haskell Stakes.

The Monmouth Stakes, for 3-year-olds and up going a mile and an eighth on the turf, is a stepping stone for the United Nations, which is contested at a mile and three-eighths on the grass. The top two finishers in the Monmouth Stakes receive free entry and start fees to the United Nations.

The winner of the 78th edition of the Salvator Mile, for 3-year-olds and up, receives free entry and start fees to the Monmouth Cup.

The Eatontown Stakes, at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf for fillies and mares, 3 and up, has the added bonus for the winner of free entry and start fees to the WinStar Matchmaker Stakes.
