Hausman Wins SSC Invitational; Bergen Takes NHC Qualifier

With two contests on the same day, Saturday, April 29 saw Larry Hausman capture the 2017 SSC Invitational while Daniel Bergen won the $250 NHC Qualifier. Both men will be going to the 2018 NHC in Las Vegas with 2nd-place finishers Joe Perry and Robert Reidy joining them.
Hausman bested the SSC field of 45 entries by turning his $200 starting bankroll into $1,010. Bergen used a late rally to turn his $150 starting bankroll into $1,593 and defeat the other 162 participants in the $250 NHC Qualifier.
