Monmouth Park will host an $800 buy-in handicapping contest on Saturday, Aug. 29, with four BCBC seats, three NHC seats and an estimated $25,000 awarded to the top 10 finishers, based on 200 entries.

Wagering is limited to all eight Monmouth Park races and races 1 through 13 at Saratoga (the Travers Stakes goes as race 13). The betting format is win, place, show, exacta and daily double.

The $800 buy-in breaks down to a $400 contest bankroll and $400 going to the prize pool.

All players must wager at least $80 on five Monmouth Park races. Once those mandatory bets are made, players can wager any amount on any other races at Monmouth and up to the 13^th race at Saratoga.

The contest can be played on-site at Monmouth Park or online through Xpressbet and TVG.

On-site registration is day of the contest, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

TVG players must pre-register with Brian Skirka (bskirka@monmouthpark.com) by 3 p.m. Eastern time on Friday

Xpressbet players can sign up through the Xpressbet site up until 12:50 p.m. on Saturday.
