So Blessed Up in Time in Saturday Night Feature; 12:30 P.M. First Post This Friday and Saturday

East Rutherford, N.J. – So Blessed prevailed by a nose in a blanket finish to capture the $30,000 allowance/optional claiming feature at the Meadowlands on Saturday night.

Trained by David Nunn and ridden by Wilmer Garcia, So Blessed returned $11.40, $5.80 and $3.40 after covering the five furlongs over firm turf in :56 4/5.  Longshot Bella the Bandit completed the $265.20 and paid $31.20 and $12.20.  It was another nose back to Bustin Out, who paid $3.20 to show.

Owned by Bull O’ the Woods Stables, So Blessed is a 5-year-old mare by Chapel Royal from the Chief’s Crown mare Caveat Apt.

The 2015 all-turf Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet continues on Friday, Oct. 30, first post 12:30 p.m.  The final day of the 2015 meet is Saturday, Oct. 31, when post time will again be 12:30 p.m.  In addition to live racing, both days will feature all the simulcast action from Keeneland and this year’s Breeders’ Cup Championships.
