PartyAllNightLong Finishes Strong To Capture Friday's Feature

Oceanport, NJ- Richard Malouf and Eddie Broome’s Partyallnightlong sat along the rail on the far turn before moving to the outside and finishing strong, scoring a length victory in Friday’s $40,000 allowance optional claiming feature.

            Trained by Broome, Partyallnightlong covered the five furlongs over the firm turf course in :56.07 and paid $6, $3.60 and $3. Sterling’s Maximus fought hard to complete the $34 exacta and paid $6.60 and $4. It was another length and a quarter behind the top pair to Big Awesome, who paid $4.20 for show.

            “I had a really good trip,” said winning rider Antonio Gallardo. “I was sitting comfortable on the rail and off the pace. I got a little stuck before moving to the outside and I hit him a few times and he answered.”

            The 9-year-old horse by Put It Back out of the Jules mare Party to Party now posts a record of 11-4-3 in 32 lifetime starts.
