Race Summary

Longshots were the order of the day for the 1990 Haskell Invitational as Restless Con and jockey Tim Doocy captured the event by two and a quarter lengths at odds of 10-1. Baron de Vaux, dismissed at 26-1, the longest shot on the board, finished second, a neck ahead of the 1989 Eclipse juvenile champion Rhythm. The top two combined for a $395 exacta.
Profit Key, the 8-5 favorite, broke on top and set the early pace before fading to sixth.
