How many races will there be on Haskell Day, and what race is the actual Haskell Invitational?

Haskell Day 2014 has a full card of 14 races, the Haskell being the 12th race on the card with a post time of 5:45pm.

When is Monmouth Park open?

On Haskell Day the Monmouth Park gates open 10:00 a.m. First post is 12:00 pm.

How do I get tickets? Do I need reserved seats?

Grandstand and Clubhouse admission are purchased the day of the race at the gate. Grandstand admission is $5 and Clubhouse admission is $8. Reserved seats are available for an additional seat charge. Call 732-571-5563.

What is the dress code at Monmouth Park?

In the Grandstand building, shirts are to be worn at all times. In the Clubhouse, proper attire is required: no swim wear, sweats, tank tops or abbreviated wear. *New for 2014* Country-Club Casual Dress Code in Parterres: Dress jeans are permitted. For men, jackets are requested and collared shirts are required. For ladies, appropriate dress is required. Absolutely no sportswear (i.e. sweatpants, jogging suits, etc), shorts, tank tops, abbreviated wear, sneakers or flip flops will be permitted.

What activities are there for children?

Every Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., is Family Fun Day at Monmouth Park and Haskell Day is no exception. Starting “On the Green” and spreading all the way to the picnic area, you’ll find clowns, face painters, live music, pony rides, a bounce house and more. In addition, there is a playground in the Picnic Area and an arcade on the first floor of the Grandstand.

Where is the gift shop located?

Our gift shop is located on the first floor of the Grandstand. Mobile gift shop carts can also be found roaming throughout the facility.

Can I purchase photos and videotapes of races?

Videotapes may be purchased through the Media Relations Department and photos from Bill Denver of Equi-Photo. Both are located on the first floor of the Administration Building, adjacent to the paddock.

How do I get my Haskell hat?

With paid admission on Haskell Day, every fan receives a redemption coupon for one (1) FREE Haskell Hat while supply lasts. Coupons can be redeemed at any of three redemption centers throughout the track.

Other than the races, what is there to do on Haskell Day?

In addition to the best racing of the year, Haskell fans are treated to a variety of entertainment. Live music will be provided by TimMcloone & The Shirleys "On the Green". There’s also Family Fun Day activities for the kids including pony rides, two bounce houses and more. Beautiful art will be on sale throughout the track from artists Jerry Dahl and Fred Stone. You can also stop by the Hall of Champions. And of course there’s the Skinny Girl Cocktails Summer Wind, the official drink of the Haskell, and the best way to cool off on Monmouth Park’s hottest day.

Can I watch the Haskell on TV?

The William Hill Haskell Invitational will be shown live on TVG.

Is there any way for me to bet on the Haskell from my computer at home?

NJ residents 18 and older can legally wager online at 4NJbets.com, now operated by TVG.

What are my dining options while at the Park?

There are several food stands located on all levels of the Grandstand including the new Cheesesteak Factory. You can also reserve restaurant seating in our Dining Terrace overlooking the clubhouse turn by calling 732-229-2100. 

Can I bring my own food and beverage?

Yes, you can. However, coolers are not permitted in the building. If your cooler contains alcohol you will be asked to remain in the designated BYOB areas: picnic area, bandstand and the Northern 2/3's of the track apron. Beer and wine are permitted, but hard alcohol is not allowed. 

Can I bring my own grill?

Yes, you can bring your own charcoal grill. Gas grills are not permitted. 

How much does parking cost?

Grandstand general and preferred parking is $4, Clubhouse preferred parking is $6 and Valet Parking is $10.
