When is The betfair.com Haskell?

The 2016 betfair.com Haskell Invitational is Sunday, July 31.

How many races will there be on Haskell Day, and what race is the actual betfair.com Haskell Invitational?

Haskell Day 2016 will have 14 races with the Haskell itself scheduled as Race 12.  Post time for the betfair.com Haskell is currently set for approximately 5:45pm. 

When is Monmouth Park open?

This Haskell Day Monmouth Park will have a special gates open time of 10:00 a.m.

What Time do Parking Lots Open on Haskell Day?

The Grandstand preferred parking lot on the track side of Oceanport Ave will open Haskell Day at 7am.

How do I get tickets? Do I need reserved seats?

Reserved seats can be purchased ahead of time. To purchase reserved seats click here. $8 for Grandstand general admission. $10 for Clubhouse general admission. There will not be a cap on attendance.  Anyone wishing to attend may pay for general admission on Haskell Day.

What else is there to do during Haskell Weekend?

Ladies' Day sponsored by Lilly Pulitzer Shops at Riverside will take place Saturday, July 30.  All ladies wearing a Derby hat or fascinator will receive FREE admission.  Lilly Pulitzer fashion show at 1pm at the Lady's Secret Café.  Ladies hat contest.  Drink specials.  On Friday, July 29, after the races will be the Joes vs. Jocks Mini Golf where fans can play mini golf against their favorite Monmouth Park jockeys.  Reservations are required to golf with jocks.  Call 732-571-6595 for more info.

What is the dress code at Monmouth Park?

In the Grandstand building, shirts are to be worn at all times. In the Clubhouse, proper attire is required: no swim wear, sweats, tank tops or abbreviated wear. Country-Club Casual Dress Code in Parterres: Dress jeans are permitted. For men, jackets are requested and collared shirts are required. For ladies, appropriate dress is required. Absolutely no sportswear (i.e. sweatpants, jogging suits, etc), shorts, tank tops, abbreviated wear, sneakers or flip flops will be permitted.

What activities are there for children?

Every Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., is Family Fun Day at Monmouth Park and Haskell Day is no exception. Starting “On the Green” and spreading all the way to the picnic area, you’ll find clowns, face painters, live music, pony rides, and more. In addition, there is a playground in the Picnic Area and an arcade on the first floor of the Grandstand.

Where is the gift shop located?

Our gift shop is located on the first floor of the Grandstand. Mobile gift shop carts can also be found roaming throughout the facility.

Can I purchase photos and videotapes of races?

Videotapes may be purchased through the Media Relations Department and photos from Bill Denver of Equi-Photo. Both are located on the first floor of the Administration Building, adjacent to the paddock.

How do I get my Haskell hat?

With paid admission on Haskell Day, every fan receives a redemption coupon for one (1) FREE Haskell Hat while supply lasts. Coupons can be redeemed at any of three redemption centers throughout the track.

Other than the races, what is there to do on Haskell Day?

In addition to the best racing of the year, Haskell fans are treated to a variety of entertainment. Live music will be provided by Tim McLoone featuring The Shirleys "On the Green". There’s also Family Fun Day activities for the kids including pony rides, face painters and more.  And of course there’s the Summer Wind, the official drink of the Haskell, and the best way to cool off on Monmouth Park’s hottest day. We will host a Best Dressed Couple contest with prizes awarded in the winner's circle.

Can I watch The betfair.com Haskell on TV?

The betfair.com Haskell Invitational will be shown live on NBC.

Is there any way for me to bet on The betfair.com Haskell from my computer at home?

NJ residents 18 and older can legally wager online at 4NJbets.com, now operated by TVG.

What are my dining options while at the Park?

On Haskell Day, concession stands and portable food and drinks options will be spread across the Grandstand and Clubhouse.  Both outside and inside will have options ranging from sandwiches and salads to hot dogs and burgers.

Can I bring my own food and beverage?

Yes, you can. However, coolers are not permitted in the building. If your cooler contains alcohol you will be asked to remain in the designated BYOB areas: picnic area, bandstand and the Northern 2/3's of the track apron. Beer and wine are permitted, but hard alcohol is not allowed. Please see our cooler and picnic policies here.

Can I bring my own grill?

Yes, you can bring your own charcoal grill. Gas grills are not permitted. 

How much does parking cost?

On Haskell Day only, all parking will cost $10 with the exception of valet which will cost $20.  Fans are encouraged to car pool or use NJ Transit which has a stop approx. a quarter mile up the road from Monmouth Park.
