For the first time ever, Monmouth Park will host the Joes vs. Jocks Mini Golf Festival Sponsored by Monmouth Medical Center's Roll out the Ribbons Campaign on Friday, July 26. In addition to mini golf, the event will feature food trucks (Max's Hot Dogs, Pizza Vita and Kona Ice) and live music from the Rachal Allen Band.
The festival will take place from 6-10pm after the races on Friday, July 26 and serve as the official kickoff to William Hill Haskell weekend. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
There will be two aspects to the mini golf portion of the festival:
1) A limited number of foursomes will be sold to play a round of mini golf with Monmouth Park jockeys, trainers and other racing personalities. Foursomes cost $100 (money goes to charity) and includes 18 holes with MP jockeys, unlimited mini golf the rest of the night, commemorative scorecard and ball and more. Those interested in reserving a foursome should email email@example.com for more information.
2) For "walk-up" golfers, wristbands for unlimited mini golf will be sold for $20 for an adult, $15 for kids 12 and under.
A number of prizes will be given out throughout the night for low scores, holes in one, etc.
Music from the Rachel Allen Band and food from Max's Hot Dogs, Pizza Vita, and Kona Ice will help to make this night great for the entire family.
