Have you heard?  Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah is Running in the William Hill Haskell!

The pure excitement that phrase elicits is enough to keep most of us awake at night counting down the days!  But more than just one day of historic racing, Monmouth Park has planned three days of events, promotions and a party atmosphere fit for royalty.

The Pharoah Phan Phestival will take place from Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2 and will be a three-day celebration of the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years.  It'll be three days of "Phun" highlighted by Sunday's Haskell - which is shaping up to be the biggest horse race in the history of New Jersey.

"Phans" are welcome to come out all three days and experience the "Triple Crown of giveaways" as well as the rest of the weekend's "Phun Phestivities":

On Friday, July 31, all fans will receive a commemorative American Pharoah button and a special American Pharoah magazine, courtesy of the Daily Racing Form.  In addition, Monmouth Park will host a "Phriday" Happy Hour at the Lady's Secret Café from 2-5pm.  Immediately after the races, fans are encouraged to attend the 3rd annual Joes vs. Jocks Mini Golf "Phestival" where all your favorite Monmouth Park jockeys will be taking on the fans.  A limited amount of foursomes are available to play with the jockeys.  Reservations can be made by calling 732-571-6595.  Walk-up golfers are welcome to play on course #2.

Saturday, August 1 is Ladies' Day sponsored by Lilly Pulitzer Shops at Riverside. All women wearing a Derby hat or fascinator will receive free admission.  There will be a Lilly Pulitzer Fashion Show at 1pm at the Lady's Secret Café and we'll award a prize for the best hat.  In addition, fans will receive a very special Bob Baffert Jersey, commemorating the trainer's seven Haskell victories.

Sunday, August 2 is William Hill Haskell Day.  The highlight of the weekend will be Monmouth Park's premier race, which this year is host to Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.  As always, fans will receive a free Haskell hat with paid admission while supply lasts.  There will be prizes for Best Dressed Couple and Best Dressed American Pharoah.  Live music will be provided throughout the day by Nashville recording artist Lo Cash (formerly Lo Cash Cowboys).

In addition, all three days of the Pharoah Phan Phestival will include t-shirt cannons between every race, plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos of the historic weekend, and much more.

With such a huge crowd expected, fans are encouraged to car pool or take the train to the track.  Parking will be $20 ($40 valet) for those coming to the event by car.

General admission will be available for all fans on race day for $6 Grandstand/$9 Clubhouse.  While reserved seats are sold out, there will be no cap on attendance and anyone wishing to come watch Triple Crown winner American Pharoah in the Haskell may do so.

Here's to a happy Haskell and Phun Pharoah Phan Phestival!!!
