Monmouth Park Has Full Slate For Independence Day Weekend

Monmouth Park will have a full schedule of events slated for Fourth of July Weekend, including the Red White & Blue Party, jockey memorabilia sale, beach tote giveaway and the Grade 1, $500,000 United Nations Stakes.

            Starting off the weekend is the Jockey Autograph and Memorabilia Sale on July 3 with proceeds going to the non-profit racehorse adoption program, Second Call. There will also be drawings for ten $100 vouchers that day.

            On the Fourth of July, Monmouth will offer a free Miller Lite Grandstand Pass with paid admission. Passes will be valid from July 5 to closing day Sept. 27. Another drawing for ten more $100 vouchers will also be given away.

            On Sunday, Monmouth Park is throwing the ultimate backyard BBQ with the Red, White & Blue Party. The party includes different competitions including a game pit with cornhole and horseshoes, eating competitions and great prizes for the best red, white and blue outfits. All day long, Bud and Bud Light specials and live music from After the Reign and Rachel Allyn. 

The weekend will culminate on Sunday, July 5 with the running of the Grade 3 Salvator Mile and the 64th running of the Grade 1 United Nations Stakes, which is a Breeders Cup Win & You’re In race. To commemorate the event, park goers that day will receive a free Monmouth Park beach tote with the price of admission while supply lasts.
