With less than two weeks to go before the Grade 1, $1 million William Hill Haskell Invitational on July 27 at Monmouth Park, William Hill, one of the world’s leading betting and gaming companies and the title sponsor of the Haskell, has set a future book line for North America’s richest invitational, with the filly Untapable listed as the 9/5 favorite.

Winner of the Kentucky Oaks and most recently the Mother Goose, Untapable rides a four-race win streak into this year’s 47th renewal of the William Hill Haskell.  The daughter of Tapit is trained by Steven Asmussen, who sent out Rachel Alexandra to best the boys in the 2009 Haskell, and will be ridden by Rosie Napravnik.

Second choice in the William Hill Haskell futures is Bayern, an impressive winner of the Woody Stephens at Belmont Park in his most recent, named at 3-1.  Bayern is conditioned by Bob Baffert, who has won a record six Haskell Invitationals.

Tied for third at 4-1 are Albano, victor of Monmouth’s Pegasus Stakes on June 15 and Wildcat Red, winner of the Fountain of Youth and runner-up in the Florida Derby.  That duo is followed by Social Inclusion (5-1) third in the Wood Memorial, Preakness and Woody Stephens and Medal Count (6-1) winner of the Transylvania Stakes and most recently third in the Belmont Stakes.

Also listed on the William Hill future wager are Irish You Well (15-1), who captured Monmouth’s Long Branch Stakes on July 5, and the runner-up from that race, Just Call Kenny (20-1), who earlier this year took the Spectacular Bid at Gulfstream.

The William Hill Haskell will be televised live on NBC and is part of the Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” Series, with the victor getting an automatic berth to the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at Santa Anita on Nov. 1.

Haskell tickets can be purchased by calling 732-571-5563, or by visiting the reserved seat booth (2nd floor of the Grandstand) on any live racing day. In addition, fans can pre-purchase Haskell seats directly through
