Breeders’ Cup, the road to racing’s richest day runs right through New Jersey,
including five runners entered in the Breeders’ Cup Classic, North America’s
richest Thoroughbred race.

(2012), as well as two previous winners of the United Nations Stakes, Big Blue
Kitten (2013) and Teaks North (2011).

including local favorite Pants on Fire, who won the 2011 Pegasus and was fifth
in that year’s Haskell Invitational. The
Kelly Breen-trainee, won the 2012 Skip Away Stakes at Monmouth and this year’s
scored in the Grade 2 Monmouth Cup.
Breeders’ Cup is at Santa Anita and will once again span two days, Nov. 1st
and 2nd. Monmouth Park
will offer full simulcast coverage of all action with a special Breeders’ Cup
party on Saturday, Nov. 2 in the Turf Club.
