Day two of the Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off will continue Sunday at Monmouth Park. Voting for top crab cake crafter will carry on in the judges’ tent, where fans can also enter to win gift certificates to restaurants in the area. At the end of the day Sunday, the winner of best crab cake and best of the rest will be announced.  Competitors this year include Bahr’s Landing, Bacon on Wheels, Ben’s BBQ & Catering, My Two Sons, Harvest Specialty, and Ike’s Crab Cakes. The competition will add to a full day of events at Monmouth Park, including a 12-race card of live racing.

Along with the crab cake cookers, there will be a variety of crafters and vendors at the park, such as Wild Bill’s old fashioned soda pop, Designer Diva, Nancy’s Candys and more. There will also be live music on Sunday as After the Reign performs “On the Green.” Patrons with children will also be able to enjoy Family Fun Day on Sunday, which features pony rides, face painting, bounce houses, and other family friendly activities.

Gates open at 11:30 a.m. and the first race is set for 12:50 p.m. on Sunday.
