All of those who voted for Hermosillo as the 2011 New Jersey-bred champion Handicap Horse and Horse of the Year consider him something special. Now he’s got the pictures to prove it.
The 8-year-old bark bay gelding was selected by horseware.com to be the new model for the company’s Rambo line of horse products, which include blankets. The company delivered a large shipment of blankets and other supplies to the barn of trainer Stephen DiMauro after Hermosillo’s photo shoot.
“I don’t know why they picked him for their magazine, but I think he may even be the one they use on the cover,” said DiMauro.
