Jockey Paco Lopez took advantage of a big opening along the rail and roused Auldwood Lane from the back of the pack to a three-quarters of a length victory in the co-featured $40,000 allowance on Sunday at Monmouth Park.

The victory was the second in five career starts for the Auldwood Lane, who has never finished off the board. Sent off as the even-money favorite in the field of nine fillies by the crowd of 11,121, the turf-sprinting specialist earned another stakes chance with her victory, according to winning trainer Jason Servis.

He said the 3-year-old daughter of Bodemeister-Ever Always, owned by Dennis Drazin, would likely have her next start in the Blue Sparkler Stakes on July 21 at Monmouth Park.

Auldwood Lane covered the 5½ furlongs over a firm turf course in 1:03.70. Sensible Myth and Beaux Arts finished in a dead-heat for second.

Lopez, tied atop the Monmouth Park Jockey standings with Jose Ferrer with 23 wins, maneuvered Auldwood Lane to the rail after most of the other contenders went wide in the stretch. The filly responded with an impressive stretch run.

For Servis, it marked his 13th victory from 26 starters at the meeting.

The Chad Brown-trained Earned Success captured the co-featured $40,000 allowance optional claimer by 1½ lengths over He’s Got Talent. Ridden by Joe Bravo, Earned Success covered the six furlongs in 1:10.89 in winning for the second time in three career starts.

Singanothersong, the1-2 favorite in the field of seven, faded to third after setting the early fractions.
