The betfair.com Haskell is the final of five graded stakes races on Sunday’s program, which includes Grade 1 winner Bradester returning to defend his title in the Grade 2, $200,000 Monmouth Cup.

In addition, the 51st running of the Grade 3 WinStar Matchmaker Stakes showcases a full field of 12 fillies and mares going a mile and an eighth on the turf with the top three finishers receiving a breeding season to WinStar stallions Paynter, Haskell winner in 2012, Fed Biz or Take Charge Indy.

The Grade 3 Molly Pitcher Stakes features Grade 1 winner Birdatthewire, who won the La Brea Stakes in December at Santa Anita and Grade 3 winner Super Majesty, who took the Dogwood Stakes in September at Churchill Downs.

The return of Winning Cause, victor of the 2014 Grade 3 Cliff Hanger Stakes and the 2015 Grade 3 Red Bank Stakes at Monmouth, headlines this year’s Grade 3 Oceanport Stakes as does the entry of Almasty, who took the Grade 3 Commonwealth Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs in November.

The Haskell’s scheduled post time is 5:47 p.m. and will be telecast live on NBC.

The betfair.com Haskell is a Breeders’ Cup “Win & You’re In” event for the $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic.

Gates will open early on Haskell Day at 10 a.m. with first race scheduled for 12 noon.
