Donald Fischer of Bloomfield, NJ bested a field of 216 other entries to take first place in Sunday's Simulcast Series Challenge #3.
Fischer turned his $100 starting bankroll into $1,083 to take home first prize and a check for $10,850. In addition, Fischer - along with the rest of the Top 20 finishers - now advances to the Simulcast Series Challenge Invitational on Saturday, April 25. The Top 2 finishers in that tournament, earn a seat in the 2016 DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas.
Players in Sunday's contest had to make a minimum of 10 bets from Aqueduct, Gulfstream and Tampa Bay. The minimum bet was $10 and bets could only be win, place and/or show.
