Capping off an incredible year of contest play, Eric Moomey took home yet another first-place prize by winning Monmouth Park's $200 event on Saturday, December 27.  Moomey bested 282 other entries to take home the first prize of $14,150.

Finishing second was Joe Perry.  George Caulfield was third.

Because Moomey had already earned two NHC seats throughout 2014, Perry and Caulfield received the two NHC berths through this contest.

Saturday's event pitted players against each other betting on races from Aqueduct, Gulfstream and Tampa Bay Downs.  Each player had to bet at least 10 races and a minimum of $10 per race - win, place and/or show only.

Monmouth's next handicapping will come on Saturday, January 10.  This event will be the first of four qualifiers in the Simulcast Series Challenge.  Anyone with questions on this or any other handicapping contest, can email Brian Skirka at
