Monmouth Park To Open Early For Dubai World Cup

On Saturday, March 29 Monmouth Park will welcome racing fans at 9:15am for international simulcast racing from the final day of the Dubai World Cup Carnival. Tellers will be ready for wagering by 9:30am as the third race readies for post at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse.

 

With total purses of $27,000,000, the day's racing is highlighted by the $10,000,000 Dubai World Cup (UAE-I) with expected entry of former U.S. based Ron the Greek as well as Grade I winners Hunter's Light, Ruler of the World, and Red Caudeaux. 

 

Also on Saturday, Derby hopefuls in the U.S. will be competing in the Grade I Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park and the Grade I Louisiana Derby at Fair Grounds.
