her turf debut a winning one by capturing the $50,000 first-level allowance
feature Friday at Monmouth
Tiffany, a 3-year-old filly by Wildcat Heir, broke from the rail and settled
just off the early pace in the 5 ½ furlong turf sprint behind quick fractions
of :20 2/5 and :43 2/5.
top of the stretch, Wild Bout Tiffany [$14.60, $7, $5] tipped to the outside of
pacesetter Watkins Glen and moved off strongly to the wire, finishing two
lengths ahead of a rallying Belarus
who returned $4.60 and $3 and completed the $53.80 exacta. Cecilia’s Song was three lengths further back
in third and paid $8.60.
