Oceanport, N.J. - Monmouth Park Racetrack will release the first condition book of the 2011 racing season on Friday, April 8, when it will be available online at www.monmouthpark.com under the "Horsemen" tab.
Included in the first book is the $75,000 Decathlon Stakes, the opening day feature; maiden special weight purses set at $45,000; and, entry level allowance contests at $50,000.
Monmouth Park kicks off its 2011 meet on Saturday, May 14. Following the opener, live cards will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays in May as well as Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day).
The stable area will welcome the first equine athletes on Monday, April 18, with the racetrack opening for training later that week.
